K-BIZ(Korea Federation of SMEs), Now in Myanmar 1605 MYANKORE-385
ASEAN Federation of Small and Medium Business was established to improve the economic support and opportunities for Korean SMEs on April 24 in Vietnam. The small and medium business in Korea is the root of Korean economy and accounts for 99% of the number of enterprises and 88% of the number of employees. It plays a pivotal role in the national economy. The Kbiz established in 1962, has supported overseas marketing through participating in foreign exhibitions for SMEs, dispatching business delegations, and providing information about FTA. There are about 30 institutions from 17 countries that signed cooperation agreement with Kbiz, and it has worked aggressively to enter into overseas market for SMEs through various cooperation projects. Mr. Lee Chung Kun, a chairman of Vietnam Federation of SMEs, said ” the Korean SMEs improved its competitiveness and cultivated overseas market through endless technology development and management innovation. As a result it has established the foundation to develop into the world’s ninth trading nation with trading volume of US$ 1 trillion. We will collaborate with ASEAN countries to upgrade and promote SMEs. 1605 MYANKORE-387In line with Vietnam Federati on of SMEs , Myanmar also will launch its organization within this month. Mr. Lee Chung Kun visited Myanmar last month to talk with Mr. Kim Kuk Tae, a chairman of GMC and Mr. Kim Chun Sub, a former chairman of Korean Association about starti ng up Myanmar Federati on of SMEs. Myanmar society also will form a SME organizati on and start SMEs activity and promotion to break through a struggling situation in Myanmar. That’s time to create a win-win situati on between SMEs.
